PICKERINGTON, Ohio (November 12, 2007) – AMA Road Racing Manager Morgan
Broadhead has been relocated to the University of Utah Medical Center’s
Rehabilitation Ward to continue his recovery from injuries sustained while
practicing for the WERA/AMA National Challenge Series at Jennings GP in
Jennings, Fla., on Friday, Sept. 28. This according to his mother, Lee
Broadhead.
Ms. Broadhead remains very upbeat about Morgan’s progress and reports that he
is receiving one-on-one treatment from a variety of specialists including
physical, speech and occupational therapists.
Broadhead suffered a head injury, a broken left forearm and broken left
wrist. As part of his treatment Morgan was placed in an induced coma. Initially
hospitalized at Shands at the University of Florida, in Gainesville, Fla.,
Morgan has been making steady improvement over the weeks since he was
injured.
Ms. Broadhead said that she and her family continue to be pleased with the
improvement Morgan is showing and welcomes cards and letters to the address
below. Ms. Broadhead requested that flowers or packages not be sent at this
time:
