AARON GOBERT SIGNS WITH ROCKWALL HONDA TO RACE AMA SUPERSPORT AND FORMULA XTREME IN 2008

Rockwall Honda Racing is pleased to announce that 2004 AMA Superstock champion Aaron Gobert will race Rockwall Honda CBR600RRs in the 2008 AMA Supersport and Formula Xtreme championships in 2008.

"I had a good year in 2007, and I’m carrying that momentum over to the Rockwall team,” said Gobert.  “We’ve already tested once, and from the beginning I’ve gotten on with the bikes and the team really well, which should make for a strong 2008 season."

Joining Gobert on the team will be crew chief Gary Medley, who brings AMA and World championship experience to the team.

Rockwall Honda team owner Michael Worrell said, “Having Aaron and Gary join the team is a big step up for us. They’ve each won championships, and they bring a lot of experience to the team, so we’re really looking forward to 2008.”

The Rockwall Honda team will participate in the upcoming Dunlop tire test at Daytona International Speedway, November 30th through December 2nd.
