FASTRACK RIDERS UPDATE 02-18-08

The event this past Saturday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway was about as good as it could get. PERFECT RIDING WEATHER!ONLY ONE CRASH!  702 Sportbike Riders stepped up and offered free food to everyone at the event!  HUGE! Thanks to 702 Sportbikes for your generosity! Fastrack Riders will be back at LVMS on Saturday, March 22nd.

This event will be asellout so be sure to register early. Fastrack Riders next event is this coming Friday, February22nd at Streets of Willow. Yes, the weather prognosticators are saying there is a 30% chance of showers forecasted for Rosamond but we all know "chance of showers" is a lot less
likelihood of it happening than "chance of rain". TheNovice Rider School is sold out but we still have a fewspots in Level I and a few in Level III! Come on out andimprove your riding skills on the technical and challengingStreets of Willow Track! You can still register online or call 877-560-2233.

Everyone is asking how we like the new KTM Super Duke bikes so far. Well, one Fastrack Riders instructor had their race prepared liter bike at LVMS on Saturday and was turningconsistent 1:24's with slicks. In the afternoon they switched to the Super Duke which was totally bone stock including the factory tires and turned consistent 1:29's! The Super Duke is such a fun bike to ride on the track.

Next we will get the suspension dialed in, some rear sets, better tires, one tooth up on the front sprocket, a slightlytaller windscreen, and the lap times should drop to the consistent 1:27 or a less range. GREAT BIKE! Tons of fun! Easy to ride! KOOL LOOKING!

Fastrack Riders have been carefully monitoring the new passing rules and we have found it has improved the safety of each event and the enjoyment factor by a lot. Fewer frustrated riders translates to fewer unsafe passing situations since passing restrictions have eased up in Level I and Level II thereby making the event safer
