bwin the world’s leading provider of online gaming entertainment have reinforced their link with top international motorcycle road racing. The company has signed a renewed sponsorship deal for season 2008 and 2009 with Dorna Sports, the commercial rights-holders of MotoGP.

The deal, which builds on bwin’s existing close partnership with MotoGP represents a prestige sponsorship with a global reach and frequency. In addition to title sponsorships to two top MotoGPs and curve and bridge sponsorship at Brno, Czech Republic, bwin has also, for the first time, secured the live streaming rights for the entire calendar season. MotoGP, the premier motorcycle road racing world championship is enthusiastically followed by millions of fans all over the world.

Iberian Peninsular MotoGP Races
This season bwin is assuming the title sponsorship of two high profile MotoGP events: at Jerez de la Frontera, Spain (March 30) and in neighbouring Portugal at Estoril (April 13), thus capitalizing on the enormous following for the sport on the Iberian Peninsular.
Held in front of huge crowds of fans and broadcast all over the world, they represent an excellent sponsoring opportunity with multiple naming and branding privileges, promotions and online presence, activities and hospitality.

Brno: Advertising curve and bridge
bwin‘s agreement with Dorna also includes the sponsorship of a curve and bridge at the famous circuit. MotoGP in Brno is set in the heartland of Central Europe’s motor cycle enthusiasts and attracts crowds in excess of 200,000 from the Czech Republic and surrounding countries. The circuit is set in the rolling hills near the Czech city of Brno, which create a natural amphitheatre for the races. The event is extremely popular with spectators and competitors alike.

High Profile Sponsorship in top class sport
By associating with this dynamic motor sport at these three top venues, bwin continues to pursue its policy of being associated with top class international sports. In addition to its interest in MotoGP, the company, the world’s leading providers of online gaming entertainment, also sponsors Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and AC Milan, high profile international teams from the most important European soccer leagues. bwin is also the official partner of the bwin Liga Portugal and supports the German National Team for friendly internationals leading up to the Euro 2008. As global sponsor of FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, bwin will be also partner of the FIBA Euro Basket Poland in 2009 and the FIBA World Championship in Turkey the following year.
