BMW to compete in WSBK in 2009 |

I was just informed that BMW will be competing in World Superbike for the 2009 season with Alpha-Racing. Here is the info straight from the mouth of BMW:
"There are few details
on the production bike except that it will go on sale in 2009 and there will be
1000 units by the end of that year.
Traction control will
be available on it. The motorcycle will be called the S 1000
RR.
BMW will campaign the
S 1000 RR in World Supebike in 2009 with partner
Alpha-Racing."
More details to follow as they become available and we'll post a picture when they are released as well.
