FASTRACK RIDERS UPDATE 04-29-08
May 17th & 18th Las Vegas Motor
Speedway Special!
This is our first two day event at Las Vegas Motor
Speedway
in over two years so we want to extend a special offering to
all
riders. The normal price is $199 per rider for the day
but the two day event
special is $165 per rider for one day
or receive a two day pass for only
$300! The LVMS 1.8 mile
8 turn Classic Course is a really fun track to ride
as it
has a couple of good straights to satisfy your need for
speed plus
several different types of technical corners to
improve your overall riding
skill

At the last Auto Club Speedway and Las Vegas Motor
Speedway
event we began using our new Velcro mounting system for the
AMB
Timing Transponders. The system worked much better than
the zip tie process
we had used in the past. It is faster,
cleaner, we can usually mount the
transponder out of harms
way and riders can leave the Velcro Mounting Patch
on the
bike till their next track day!
We charged a $5.00 per vehicle gate
fee at the last Auto
Club Speedway event. This was implemented because of
so
many riders leaving behind either fuel cans, tires, or even
oil that
the track charges me to remove. Remember, VP fuel
will take back all fuel
cans, our tire vendor The Racers
Edge will take back all old tires, and there
is an oil
dumping stating at Auto Club Speedway so there is no reason
for
anyone to leave anything behind! We will temporarily
suspend the gate fee
and give everyone a chance to do the
right thing and properly dispose of
these items. If
everyone cooperates, there will be no gate fee. If they
do
not the gate fee will go back into effect.
