In keeping with our goal of bringing you the best racing photos by some of the best photographers in the business, 2WF is proud to welcome Gary Rather as a contributing photographer.
Gary is a well known West Coast based photographer that has been in business since 1995. He started out photographing friends on the track and it snowballed from there....but I'll let Gary tell it; "I started
out shooting some friends that were racing. Someone said "Take One of
Me, I'll pay you for it" That was a lifetime ago. Since then I have
taken 10's of thousands of pictures of racing motorcycles. I very much enjoy my job and I think the racers are some of the greatest people anywhere. I spend a large part of my life at racetracks and I try to capture
the thrill and excitement of the racing. From the novice just learning
to drag their knee, to the old time expert dicing with the fast guys.
I
use the best equipment I can and try to give my customers the highest
quality of images I can."
